London & North Western Rly 2-4-2T No 2128 1. Unpainted, but would have carried LNWR lined black. Webb design, with 5 foot 6 inch driving wheels for local and branch line services. 190 were built at Crewe in 1890 - 1897. All except nine passed to the LMS, and some 40 to BR. A very useful class, which fared better in LMS days than most LNWR passenger types.
